TyLoo won the CSL 2016 Finals after defeating 5POWER 2-1 in the grand final (16-11 on Cache, 12-16 on Mirage, and 16-12 on Cobblestone). The top four teams from the regular season of the CS:GO Super League came together for the LAN finals in Chengde, China and battled in a best-of-three, double-elimination playoff setting. TYLOO became the first grand finalist after beating both BOOT and Born Of Fire 2-0. 5POWER joined TYLOO in the grand final after winning their match against Born Of Fire in the lower bracket.
TYLOO started Cache on the CT-side and quickly gained a 6-0 lead after dominating in the pistol and first weapon rounds. TYLOO won the first half 12-3 and won the first two rounds of the second half but 5POWER initiated a comeback effort, coming as close as four rounds (15-11). TYLOO were unfazed and closed out the map 16-11. Mirage which was the second map of the series saw 5POWER starting out on the CT-side. They came up short and only got five rounds in the first half. Although TYLOO extended their lead to 12-5 after winning the first two rounds in the second half, 5POWER secured 11 rounds in a row to win Mirage 16-12. TYLOO asserted their dominance in the latter stages of Cobblestone and took the map with a 16-12 score, winning the series 2-1 and becoming the champions. CSL 2016 FinalsBest of 3
